If you are interested in cars, we recommend a trip to the Škoda Auto Factory and Car Museum, located at Mladá Boleslav, 55 kilometres northeast of Prague.

The car manufacturer was founded in 1895, and the current plant is one of the most modern in the world. The factory started producing the luxury Laurin & Klement vehicles in 1929 and continues the tradition with today’s models: Škoda Fabia, Octavia, Superb and others.

The tour includes:

  • A visit to the museum, in the older buildings at the complex
  • A chance to see documents about car manufacture
  • 90-minute tour of the factory
