When you are in Prague, do not miss an opportunity to see a performance at one of Europe’s oldest theatres, located just a few minutes away from Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square.
The Estates Theatre has been in continuous use since 1783 and today forms part of the National Theatre. As well as plays, you can see performances of opera, and ballet, by Czech and international artists. In 1787, Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni received its premiere at the Estates Theatre.
